sophomore rush

Is rushing as a sophomore uncommon? Would it put me at a disadvantage at all?

No, not uncommon...yes, possible slight disadvantage. Freshmen are definitely preferred, but if you have a lot going for you as a pnm, you can still do fine as a sophomore.
