dues

How do you afford your sorority dues? I have to admit that I am struggling a bit. I have a part time job but I'm still coming up short. I love my house and want to avoid dropping but my parents don't have the money to help me and there are only so many hours I can work in a week. I also feel like I'm one of the few girls that isn't wealthy or upper middle class in my house so no one else seems to have this problem.

If you're paying your own dues I'd love to hear how you're doing it.

Talk to your VP Finance or Standards, most houses have some kind of hardship status that has a reduced amount for dues. Typically this is limited to 1-2 semesters as it's only meant to be a short-term thing. No house ever really wants to lose a sister for financial reasons, so I suggest talking to someone on exec about what your options are! Also Pan does a scholarship that you could look into
