rushing as a sophomore

I'm transfering to UF in the fall and want to rush. I've heard it's harder to rush as a sophomore though. I had a pretty rough first semester in pre med so my GPA isn't good (2.6), but I'm hoping to raise it before rush. I'm also gonna take summer classes to raise it too. If I do well in my classes, I can probably get my gpa somewhere between 3.2 - 3.4. What is the GPA cut off for most sororities and what are the chances of getting a bid as a sophomore? Also, does being a legacy help at all?
