should i drop?

by:

I still don't have friends in my sorority. I feel awkward walking into the house because everyone has made their friends by now and I haven't. Sometimes I feel like it's a waste of money (I pay for it myself) and want to drop. I am a junior and this is my first year in a sorority, so I am not sure if I should give it time and stick with it since I only have a year and a half left anyways. Is it normal to still not have friends? Looking for any advice you may have.

if you're a junior then just play it off like "oh I was so busy last semester I wanna be more involved now that my course load isn't as bad"

A lot of people are in similar situations as you. This happens in every sorority, not just bottom / middle / top tier. I'm sure there are other girls in your sorority feeling the same way, so you should reach out to them. Also, when you talked to the girls in your sorority during recruitment you were really able to click with them right? Maybe try to do the same thing you did when you first began. Maybe it will be more difficult, but when you find the right moment don't be afraid to take advantage. Also, don't just limit yourself to a select few sisters. Talk to everyone.

You will get out of it what you put into it. If you stay with it, you will need to boost your involvement to make connections and form lifelong bonds.
