From what I have heard, the "no spring recruitment" really just means that Panhellenic is not overseeing it and running an open house day. Any house under chapter total can still do their own events and extend bids to women in spring, there just won't be a formally organized event when you can go visit each participating chapter on one day.

It's true that Panhellenic isn't doing a formal spring rush, but individual houses might be doing their own events and extending bids. Your best bet is to talk to any friends you have in a sorority and ask them, not Greek rank. That would be the easiest way to get info about what sororities are holding events and how you can attend them.
