transferring as an inactive member

I'm transferring from an out of state college and was in a sorority, is it possible for me to join that same sorority at this school?

Maybe. It depends on both the sorority national and local chapter's affiliation policy. Contact your national and see how it's done. It can vary from all transfers are affiliated to all transfers need to be voted on to affiliate to we don't take and affiliates.
