how did kd change tiers?

When my mom was at UF in the 80s, she said that KD was definitely middle tier. She is surprised to learn that they are top tier.
Apparently, all her sisters are impressed, too, that KD has risen from the top, and have nothing but positive things to say.
But, I want to know - how did KD do it? How did they go from bottom/middle to top tier?

SK/AZD (gone now)
A few chapters have gone for a bit, regrouped and then returned...PiPhi, PhiMu, Deeph, SK. For most this seems to have helped, PiPhi, Deeph, and even PhiMu seem to have improved/grown stronger in recent years. SK hasn't seemed to rise rankwise, but definitely seems to have progressed in size and stability. Promising for the future of Gator Greek life.

ZTA was one of the top, if not the top house, in the 80s....sorry its true. ZTA has pretty much always been a top house at UF.

apdi/dg and ddd ruled the row in the 80's... zta did not.
you were the number 4 house. you still have a tiny house. Meanwhile, ddd has built a monster house, adpi and dg both building new houses in the next year. So ZTA.... what are you going to do...

when are you going to build a big house? never. adpi, and dg building next year... pretty soon, you will be middle tier again like the 80/90s
