Ticket sales had a lot to do with it. The sororities those girls are in probably didn't buy many tickets.

I asked a Chi Phi about it since my chapter didnt even make the second round either and he said first round is half ticket, shirts, etc and half your performance. The second round is strictly talent. So if you were amazing in your first round but only sold 4 tickets, someone a little less talented whos chapter showed up a lot would advance.

It is sad that untalented people make it to round 2 based on tickets (like Sigma Kappa's who fine their sisters if they don't go) while the people we want to hear don't get a chance because their sorority doesn't force them to go "or else". I won't be going next year to watch again
