dropping sorority

by: Confused

I'm an upperclassman thinking about dropping my sorority because it just doesn't feel worth the time or money anymore. I know it'd be pretty biased on here but does anyone have stories of what it's like after you or a friend dropped? Pros or cons?

so you are going to "drop" because it does not "feel wort" it? What about the commitment you made when you took a spot in the pledge class? What about the the profile you probably portrayed that you were an involved student, a leader, etc in order to get recruited tot his house? Now you just want to drop? Good luck in the real world. Why don't you try to make a difference and get more involved?

She's an upper classmen not a freshman dropping so what you're saying doesn't really apply. Over time plenty of girls go inactive in their sororities bc they're older, have their friend groups etc. it's always easier if your friends drop all at once and you live with a good group of people

every person i know that drops regrets it. they usually drop because they feel like they don't have friends. try and branch out and find a new group, you joined for a reason.
