kicked out of sorority

I have been recently kicked out of my sorority, or as nationals would call it "Volunteer Resignation". I have been kicked out due to life changing financial issues. I was wondering if there was anything I could do to be let back into the sorority? If not, am I considered disaffiliated? Am I considered an alumni? Can I still wear my sash/ stole at graduation? Im extremely upset and am willing to do whatever it takes.

Since it was "volunteer resignation, you probably are back to being a GDI without the ability to join another sorority since you have been initiated. Resignation in most sororities would not be considered disaffiliation or an alumni. You need to contact alumni advisors for the chapter you were a part of and/or the national office to find out what they consider you and if there is anything you can do to go back into your sorority.

this is your sorority...you don't know this answer? We don't even know what sorority you are talking about so how can we answer? call your nationals.
