ddd legacy
by: alexaMy mother was a DDD here in the mid 80's when DDD was awesome, not so much anymore. DDD use to hold their own with ADPI, as the top houses. I did not join DDD at UF. I could not do it. DDD is so lack luster now. I am in a top house here. It saddens me and my mother how much DDD has taken a nose dive. I have to agree that DDD is not a top house anymore, it is a middle tier house. They have a lot of work to do to turn DDD around. Yes the DDD house is beautiful but the chapter here is not.

KD is hot now, was good back then, but great now. DDD not so good. ADPI still the QUEEN OF THE ROW AFTER 60 DAMN YEARS AND GOING STRONG.

adpi, dg and ddd use to rule the row. zta and kd were really nothing, just average houses. The only house left standing is adpi. Flash forward to 2016 and Zta and KD and in the top house draw, and dg and ddd have really dropped. interesting?
don't get your hopes up phi mu or sk? you will never be a top house.

I am from the 80s......ZTA, ADpi, DDD and DG used to rule the row and still do. KD was horrible in the 80s..probably the equivalent of AEPHI today. AOPi was about how KAT is today. ZTA, ADpi, DDD and DG have always been top mostly because of alumni, foundation and reputation.

Adpi, ddd, dg, and zta were the tops in the 80s
Then dphie, xo, theta, kd, aopl.. In that order
Kappa, axo, sk, ae phi, azd -(not here anymore)
Phimu was not around, they were dormant
Kd was how kappa or axo is now. Somehow they rose to the top since then. Proof that good rushing skills works.
There were No TIERS as we define them today, everyone just knew, based on socials, HoCo, Greekweek, Derby
Source: I asked my mom, who was on Panhellenic exec in the 80s.

What is the Dazzle DDD? falling down again? middle tier not suiting you? Pledges dropping out? They can not make the grades. ADPI is rainbows, and ponies, and butterflies. The perfect house, and you said it this summer. DO you not remember? When you said ADPI was the percent house. I can not believe you forgot your said this DDD.

How is this going to effect your life one iota? It isn't. Being in a top tier will be meaningless down the road. It will not get you a better job. It will not give you a wonderful marriage and 2.5 beautiful kids. The only benefit is lifelong friendships, which we will all get no matter what tier you are in.

news flash. I was a kd in the 80's it was not a horrible house. ZTA was not all that great, I think you have it mixed up. KD has get a lot better, and so has zta. But I have to agree, adpi OWNS THE ROW. my older sister was an adpi in the 70's and they have only gotten better.

ADPI ruled in the early 80s along with DG and then DDD. CHIO and ZTA followed. There was a huge drop down to KD and AOPI. Many women dropped out if they didn't get a top 6 or 7 house so the top houses were much bigger and thus had far larger retention rates.

I was an adpi in the 90's, we owned the row then, and we still are the number 1 house. Adpi rules the row.

We, all the alums of all of the houses here at UF have a right to go site. I was president of ZTA here in the 80's. My daughters are zta's I just find it interesting to read the comments, that is it. No stalking involved. FYI
ADPI ruled the ROW, then DG, DDD, ZTA, KD, XO. \n\n\n\n\n
