by: allyI think I was in your group. Try again. I did not get what I wanted either. I like ADPI too. I am going to rush again next year. I heard ADPI had a very small pc this year. I think ADPI is my FAV too. I got dropped by them after the 2nd round. They are my dream house.

PC has lots of Actives where they had to incoming little sisters in the PC class. This is not the normal. ADPI will consider a legacy over anything else, especially a Gamma Iota Legacy . That is what I was told what happened this year. I always hear that ADPI will consider a legacy over any thing else. I am not a legacy but I am going to try again.

You guys have been drinking too much of the ADPI kool aid. So now you are going to blame your lack of bid to too many legacies this year? Newsflash, plenty of legacies are going to come through every year. Honestly if you have no appreciation for the bid that you got, maybe DZ would be better without members like you. But odds are you will be a GDI for your college years.

If you did get a bid, you should give the house a shot. Clearly they wanted you and liked you enough to invite you into their sisterhood. As long as you don't initiate, you will still be able to go through rush next year. And what if you discover that you love where you ended up? Lots of people do. Otherwise you're talking about 25% of your college experience spent waiting just in case ADPi chooses you next year.

I am willing to drink the adpi kool aid thank you. I will try one more time. There are two of us that really wanted adpi and there is nothing wrong with wanting a certain house. This is a compliment to ADPI.

What may be a compliment to ADPi will likely be a fool's errand for you. Your loyalty is misplaced, instead of giving it to the house that wanted you, you give it to the house that rejected you. smh

Get over yourselves. First of all this year it looks like XO and DZ both have a great pledge class. If many of the people that also were interested in ADPi ended up in one of these two chapters doesn't it make sense that you would likely find people you got along with and wanted to call your sisters in them. Y'all had me wondering so I went and looked at Instagram pictures from bid day. Very impressive. There's no question people are now selecting their sorority based on the tier they are in and not on the quality of members, the sisterhood and the other things that make a sorority what it is. I am a recent alum. I picked my sorority because I felt like I would belong and be relevant at all times not so that I could see myself on the top line of a Greekrank rating.

A) This site is for all including people like you who simply want to stir up bs to cause drama. Alums can post too.
B) I am convinced that the majority of people who post rude, negative comments are not even in a sorority.
C) it is quite obvious that the same people post all of the negative posts and have nothing better to do with their lives then sit on Greekrank all day waiting for a comment they can react to.
I hope that every girl who is in a sorority enjoys their experience. Being in a sorority is truly for a lifetime.

I also got cut in after the 3rd round. I wonder why? I preffed at 3 houses that I really do not like. I got a bid from a house that I know that I really do not want to be at. I think I am going to drop out and re rush. I also want ADPI very badly. What is wrong with that? I am going to try again.

I agree 100% with No's post! If you got cut early by ADPi this year, your chances will only be worse next year as a soph. Fwiw, I didn't hear that ADPi got a smaller than usual PC this year. Just accept it. Life is full of disappointments, and some of the 'disappointments' turn out to be blessings in disguise. Why do you want to be in a house that didnt see you as fitting in? Be with girls who want you!
