any other sororities outside rush?
by: Now WhatI was dropped from all houses during rush. I was wondering if there was anything else like a sorority at UF? I just wanted the sisterhood bond along with philanthropy and big little. Everything that's part of a sorority! Anyone know of anything?

There are SO many fabulous organizations on campus. There is a student group called the Involvement Team in the Dept of Student Activites. They know a lot about the organizations/clubs at UF. They have an office in the Reitz and help students find ways to get involved. I hope you find a great fit!

If you want religious there's sigma phi lambda and theta alpha. If you want service there's omega phi alpha, delta nu zeta, or alpha phi omega if you don't mind coed. There's also the multicultural Greeks and Greek letter professional or honor societies. If a sorority is what you want you have plenty of options.

Also check out Campus Diplomats, Cicerones, multicultural Greek letter organizations, Dance Marathon, Gator Growl. Many of them have big/little relationships as well. Get involved in something on campus that interests you. By getting involved, you will meet people from many organizations across campus. If you find by participating in other organizations, you are still missing out on the relationships you wanted in Greek life go through recruitment again. Hopefully by being involved, you will have met many more people in each chapter. You will also have more topics for conversation.

I have friends in Theta alpha and sigma phi lambda and they couldn't be happier that they ended up here!
