I was looking through GreekRank and came across this in one of the comments. I think every PNM should read this before they preference.

"Tonight you have a huge decision and it's not just about picking a chapter, it's about picking if you're loyal to yourself and your feelings or if you're loyal to a system that has been oppressing chapter women for years and continues to harm our fellow greek brothers and sisters."

I especially think the last part is worth noting. The tier systems affects all of us! Not just those at the "bottom". Similar to any other form of structured prejudice, the tier system is holding Greek life back and PNMs have the power to break free from it by following their hearts and picking chapters based on personality, sisterhood, and values.
