by: What doI have gamma phi and theta left... I personally loved my conversations with the girls at gamma phi, and while I also liked theta, I feel like the overall vibe at gamma phi was more me. I know theta is higher tier... Will I regret choosing a lower tier?

Theta has a stellar reputation, one of the best of all sororitys and an actual house (which for freshman is usually a biggie since they are looking to have a home away from home)...but if you don't vibe with Theta, those things may not end up mattering to you at all. If that is the case, and you feel your friendships would be stronger at Gamma Phi, then go with that. Good luck!

Yeah I was thinking this too but the house part only bothers me a little bit, since I know gamma phi will have a nice house soon. I'm more worried about the fact that upper tiers might get better opportunities and pairings and stuff. But at the same time I'm thinking that choosing based on tier is silly, idk.. So much confusion lol

If you go where you feel comfortable you'll be more happy in the long run. Tiers don't even matter once you're in a sorority anyways. You can go to essentially any party or tailgate you want. Yes theta has a house and is established but gphi is getting a house and is creating their own legacy. Both have lots of other pros as well. just go where you know you'll feel the best
