prefs and bid day

Is it possible for a house to drop you between Prefs and Bid Day? Like is it possible that one of the houses won't give you a bid? I mean it seems like they were stringing you along if that happened...

Of course it is possible. It is unlikely, but certainly possible.

If you suicide (only pick one house) or only pick two after prefs and you had more options, then yes, you can get dropped if you aren't high enough on a chapter's bid list. If you maximize your options (pick and place in order all the houses you preffed at), even if you are too low on everyone's bid lists, you will still get added as a quota addition and get a bid.
