how many girls get cut
by: skaredif there's like 2000 girls going into recruitment, how many get no bid at all? or like not asked back in the rounds

Unfortunately the math doesnt work out that way.
If you had PCs with 90 ladies multiplied by 17, that means you'd need a minimum of 1,530 pnms with NO ONE being dropped or dropping out to achieve those numbers. Same thing with PC classes of 80, not feasible anymore if only 1,400 pnms and now 17 sororities (and 18 starting next year).
If there really are only 1,400ish PNMs this year, there will still be hundreds completely dropped and hundreds that will drop out. If for example, only 1,000ish are left, quota is going to be a lot lower than ever this year, maybe with PCs in the 50's.
Fingers crossed that there really are more PNMs than the 1,400 figure people keep throwing out, that seems awfully low, especially during a time when UF has decided to expand to more chapters.

There are around 1600 PNMs registered so far, they have 1 hour left. There will not be hundreds dropped, a good amount of girls who are released do it themselves. Quota is set based on the number of girls who preference and if you make it to prefs and rank EVERY party you attend (maximizing options) you WILL get a bid.

Agree with everything ^^ said except the part about hundreds not getting dropped. Up to around 400 or so girls either get released from all chapters or release themselves out of rush every year. Yes, a lot release themselves, but a lot also are simply released. Absolutely right though, if you can make it to prefs and maximize your options you should get a bid.
