gift for pnm's

Someone asked about conversation tips. I will tell you what I say/ask when I meet a PNM for the first time:
Hi, I'm Gabby, nice to meet you!
How is rush going?
I generally either let the conversation flow naturally, and ask questions like 'where are you from, how was move in, what do you do for fun, etc."

I LOVE when PNM's ask me open ended questions that don't just warrant a yes/no answer. A good ice breaker is something like 'what is your favorite place to eat around campus" or a sincere compliment about our sorority.

"where are you from" is a way of getting the answer to "how much money does your dad make"

What an "gift" you have given PNMs with this incredibly wise post. Man, PNMs should be so glad you happened to post today. Thank you for gracing them with this "gift" of your knowledge active KD, such lucky PNMs. Open ended questions...simply amazing!
