by: pnmhow does getting a big work? and do you always get who you want or is it random? I know nothing about Greek life... so how would you even know who you want? I may be asking this a little early but I'm curious

every sorority is different but after like a month you'll have been around enough older girls to know who you want. what's really important is to choose someone who you can see yourself being good friends with after you've chosen. sometimes potential bigs can put in a lot of effort to secure a little and make everything seem perfect until after you've chosen and they don't put much effort. get someone who you really click with, not just someone who seems cool on the outside. go with your gut feeling bc once it's done it's done

it's more of a mutual selection. you have to pick each other, so make sure you get the chance to really really know girls who you are considering to be your top options for a big. goodluck!
