about how many girls recieve bids @recruitment

Of the many many girls that attend fall recruitment, about what percentage receives a bid as in how many get to end up in a sorority ? I want to know how big of a chance there is that I would not recieve a bid rush week!

It depends every year and is a unique experience for each person because it's individualized. However, last year 1700 rushed and around 400 dropped/ did not receive a bid ( keep in mind a high percentage of that number dropped). It's not difficult to get a bid, but you can't be picky about the house sometimes it won't be your first choice

If you can make it to prefs, you should be able to get a bid. The amount of bids that go out is usually determined in part based on the number of women invited to prefs. Each house usually ends up with approximately the same number of women on bid day.
