how do you know

by:

I'm confused on how you know where you fit during rush, given you have such a short amount of time to figure it out and hope that house feels the same. I know some houses have more city vibe or southern vibe, party vibe or good girl vibe, but I'm a girl from the suburbs who likes to have a good time for sure but not like every other night, so I feel like I could go either way honestly. I'm just confused on if you're a middle ground person like me, how you know???

Sounds like you may fit in a lot of places. All houses have some level of party girls and non party girls. My overall experience was great but I had s very hard time ranking houses because I lloved several. The kicker for me was how much I liked and admired the girls in my house. Honestly if I had gotten my 2nd choice I would have been happy there too but you will know at the end of rush which girls you really want to spend time with the most. Sisterhood was my deciding factor in the end.

Each sorority usually generally knows what kind of girl will fit in with them. Rush goes by fast and sometimes it takes time after rush is over to truly feel comfortable and feel like you belong. Use that time to get to know people and see how you fit in. If you are uncertain, you may be surprised how well you do fit after some time passes.

You will be surprised how well you do know. Conversation with a member will feel forced and awkward where you do not fit in. At a house you do fit in, you will feel like you are talking to someone you have known for years or someone who is meant to be a great friend.

This is true a lot of the time, but keep in mind that with chapters having 200 plus women with lots of personalities, you might end up being rushed at some point by someone that you dont perfectly jive with...that doesnt necessarily mean you could never fit there. Or for some, it takes more time (pledge period) for things to gel, that's not abnormal.

Rush can be stressful, and at times feel uncertain for many. Try to trust the process and see it through, after the foggy frenzy of rush clears, you will likely find it worth it!

These are both true. There was one house I loved for round one and two, the girls I talked to were great. Round three the girl I talked to was so awkward i couldn't wait to leave. That chapter and I mutually cut each other after that round, and looking back on it that was a good choice because I wouldn't have fit there. You really have to take everything as a whole into account and go with your gut
