As someone who has graduated and really about to contradict herself in this post, I do not see the point of this website. Things never change. I know this is biased but in my opinion my chapter has put out two really great videos the past years, and as someone who saw the numbers, we statistically did better in recruitment the past two years than we had in a really long time. And yet nothing really changes. Name me one "bottom tier" sorority that's moved to "strong/upper mid" or one avg mid tier sorority that's moved to "top" in the last 10 years. At the end of the day we're all vain and want to more or less get into a sorority that makes us seem most attractive/and vibes most with your personality. There are exceptions, but they are rare. We all kill ourselves during recruitment and for beta bring it on and pike halftime and donate lots of money but again every year it's rigged. I was even good friends with pikes philanthropy chair & he went out of his way to tell me it was going to be "legit and fair this year" and of course it was not lol. I didn't even ask about it but he felt compelled to lie to me. Maybe to sell tickets idk. So I guess if any PNM is reading this try to not have too high of expectations at rush. It's brutal and sometimes doesn't make any sense. Just try and enjoy the ride and make an effort to bond with your sisters wherever you end up. And remember to focus on school too and get the best grades you can. Because the real world sucks more than recruitment

This seems kind of depressing. Changes can take years, but there can be some changes. Maybe not radical ones, but there are some rises and falls and shiftings that take place for some chapters. A small rise is no small achievement in this system.

True though, a lot stay exactly the same year after year after year. Depending on where a chapter "ranks" this lack of change can be a good or a bad thing. It is rare though for new chapters to get added to the mix, let alone two, that is an unusually rare big change. The system needs big changes like this to shake things up. I am interested to see what comes.

IDK, if your point is that the tier system is ridiculous and ppl should just enjoy themselves and not worry about it, then I agree. But I think chapters should still always try to better themselves, but they should do it for themselves, NOT for the system.

Not OP but assuming that is what she meant. Because I think out of anything, this is what PNMs need to hear. It is not that any of the chapters here are bad. Some of the bottom tiers are stuck at the bottom because that's just where they have been for years. Same for top, even when obvious changes have been made!

Who CARES what tier you are in? Honestly, I truly don't get it. Go where you fit in, where you are comfortable, where you are wanted and where you will make the best friends of your life.

I am in a middle/middle house, but preffed at a lower/top, middle/middle (where I am now) and a bottom. At the end of the day, I felt more myself at the middle house than the top. I've made the greatest friends, and also love the frats we hang out with.

At the top house, I would have always have to be the best version of myself. It would have gotten exhausting. I can be the TRUE me where I am. Don't get me wrong, I LOVED the top house, but I have no regrets.

AOPi my freshmen year was upper mid...since DGs rep has taken a hit AOPi has moved up to undisputable top. Changes take time but they happen. Kappa was bottom and have since moved up to the middle.
