transfer gpa?

I'm curious how GPAs are factored into things as a transfer PNM. My GPA from my previous school isnt GREAT but it's not bad, and I'm coming from a well ranked university where academics were very rigorous. I feel like this might set back compared to other transfers coming from other schools where classes were easier? What is the scoop with transfer GPAs and will what school I'm coming from be factored in?

you can always go to ZTA and DDD, they will take you. Have the lowest GPA of all of the houses besides SK. They are all the same anyway.

Having a low(er) gpa does not make you a bad house nor does it mean you are dumb. They would just rather focus on other things instead of investing their whole lives into schoolwork. C's get degrees anyways

Don't all of the houses have relatively close GPAs? But I am curious to know how a 3.0 GPA from an academically intense school is going to look compared to someones 3.5 from an easier community college for example.

I agree and am wondering the same thing it seems pretty unfair. I really don't understand how there can be a great pnm but they let grades be a thing that ruins that. I know they have nationals and all that but I do not think a 3.0 is a low or unacceptable gpa at all

All the UF sororities have between a 3.4 - 3.5 gpa. Hard to believe some people would try to make a big deal out of such a small difference.

Still no one has really answered my question! Not worrying about whether or not a chapter will accept me because of my GPA, but does where my GPA come from matter compared to other transfer PNMs?

Since transfer GPAs start over I don't even think sororities can know them...at least not that I know of. Since they don't actually even have a UF GPA I mean. I think it's mostly a guess based off high school GPA and the fact that you got in as a transfer must mean your GPA can't suck

This is majorly ridiculous but what if you don't remember your HS GPA? I'm also a transfer and I have no idea what my exact GPA was anymore, I know ball park but I'm not sure where I would find the exact number...
