zta - i am a pnm . what is the big deal about zta?

I have heard all these horror stories about ZTA. That they do not have a good sisterhood.I know they are not that smart as they have the lowest GPA of all of the houses but are the PNM selected on looks alone? I also have noticed they have dropped in rank at UF? Where they one of the original houses? I know XO, ADPI, DDD where here and they were the first houses at UF. When did ZTA come to campus? Would some please explain to me the appeal of this house? Am I missing something? I see some pretty faces, so what. So does ever other house. I do not see where they are that involved on campus. I think this house is over rated in my opinion.

Zta was not one of the first houses at UF, but they came soon after. The house was not always as popular as it has been the past decade. They used to be more involved 5 years ago, but they still contribute to philanthropies quite a bit on campus.

They're hot and they know it and so do frats and that will keep them at the top. It's like the hot exclusive popular girls

I wouldn't call them that exclusive they're just as exclusive as any of the other top tier houses, if not less... Especially last year

Lucky for ZTA, they don't particularly need to care if you don't see the appeal of their house, because plenty of PNM's do. If you don't like a house, just cut them. They don't have anything to prove to you, and this isn't really a great attitude to go into rush with.

My roommate is an senior ZTA and these rumors about no sisterhood are wrong. She loves her sisters and is always with them, and all the girl's I've met are super nice and fun to be with. Don't believe evertyhing you read on here and go through rush with an open mind.

We choose not to mix with ZTA for fear of the same problems that got us in trouble with nationals when we were close to DG. SigEp has higher standards now and a new focus -- not Animal House, but developing true leaders.
