insecurities with rush
by: YoIs having acne and acne scars a huge disadvantage during rush? I'm a outgoing girl that gets a long with most everyone but I struggle with acne and scars and I'm also a sophomore so I'm worried the acne will have sororities looking down on me

You have like 20 days until rush starts. You can start to treat your acne scars and acne! I know you probably know this and it seems like I'm just being annoying but definitely look into skincare and work on it hardcore :) You'll feel more confident. 20 days is plenty of time to fade scars and treat acne!

A lot of girls have acne scars.
Girls with acne or acne scars who have a successful rush all have one thing in common - they remain confident and know that they should worry about something they have so little control over.
You also have to think about what a successful rush means to you. Great new sisterhood? Good social life? You don't need to have perfect skin to obtain these things. It's all about appearing and being comfortable in your own skin, no matter what it looks like.

1. Wash your face with a gentle cleanser every morning and every night.
2. Drink either a cup of green tea or a cup of warm water with lemon every morning.
3. Alternate between working out for 30 minutes per day and 60 minutes per day every day.
4. Drink half your body weight in fluid ounces of water every day.
5. If you can, go to the dermatologist and ask to be prescribed with a topical cream that you can apply daily and nightly.
Following these steps won't guarantee you clear skin before rush, but it will guarantee you looking and feeling your best! Good luck! You seem really sweet and I wish you the best during recruitment and in college!

Please people I'm sure she has tried every trick in the book. She doesn't want your advice to clear up her acne. She's not saying "I have pimples and I'm not going to do anything about it help me"
Girl you sound like you have stellar confidence! Be yourself and I hope you find your home <3 If you get immediately "marked off" by a house just for that, it's their loss and you deserve better

Trust me I plan I trying to work on it but considering I've struggled with it since 8th grade, it's not something that's gonna clear up in 20 days. I'll try everything I can to get it under control again hopefully by then but it definitely won't all be gone :/
