letters of recommendation

Are rec letters worth it? Does my mom's friend's sister's opinion/"endorsement" (just for example haha) really mean anything to chapters? Or should I try to get as many as I can just so houses see effort was put in?

Rec letters don't matter much. If you feel like getting them go ahead theycanthurt but don't worry about it honestly. I had none and went to an upper mid
