houses on sorority row
by: FjWhat's the big deal with being on the row? Or being off? Does it really matter or make a difference? I heard dues are typically lower for houses off row, why?

I have lots of friends in Pi Phi (rushing this fall) and they've told me how great it is being off row. There's less drama during rush and you don't have to feel anxious walking to your house. Also a plus that they're by frat row, so it's super convenient for game days or house parties.

It is hard to forget your friends and neighbors. I think there is a little bit of 'out of sight, out of mind' that goes on with the ones off the row. Kat and Pi Phi keep up enough of an active presence on campus, so that they dont get forgotten...but kkg not as much. Due to this, i think people sometimes completely forget they exist. They've been accidentally left off recent rank lists and everyone keeps forgetting they did a summer video. I dont think this is done with bad intent, it is just out of sight, out of mind.
