chapter track records?
by: CuriousSo, like most PNMs I've been scrounging each of the sorority websites, however I am most interested in track records. By now we've all heard what the so called "top houses" are today/for the past decade, but I really want to join a house with a highly respected longstanding history at UF. Zeta, DDD, and DG's sites touch briefly on the legacies of their chapters, which seem solid. But does anyone know anything about KD & AoPi's? ADPi's "through the decades" alumnae portion of their site is pretty much the most intimidating/jaw dropping thing I've ever read. What about Chi O? Theta? Pi Phi maybe? Thanks for the insight!

Just read through some, so interesting. Zetas was pretty informative, I feel like theyre a successful chapter nationally so that really interests me. and I thought it was so interesting that adpi won an award for having "most number one choices on recruitment bid list" or something like that.

The top three largest sororities based on membership are chi o, theta, and tri delt.
The top three largest sororities based on active chapters are aopi, alpha gamma delta (not at UF), and gamma phi.
It's awesome that we have 5/6 here who have made such a large impact nationally!
Someone mentioned deeph is super small nationally, but if you're interested in them don't let that be a deal breaker.
#7by: Wow from a PNM
Just went and looked these up and WOW. ADPi's "decades" on their site is seriously UNREAL. ZTA's chap history is much briefer but still good impression. Wish more houses had info like this. Would like to join a house that's reputable now but also has been really respected at UF since the beginning. Heard chi o is good, what about kappa? (Both big where I'm from)

I'm a pan alum who has been following this for years. Generally ADPI, DDD, ZTA and DG have always had great chapters that are consistently popular with PNMs and have a great history of involvement and campus leadership. Chi Omega used to be more popular but not so much KD and AOPI. Theta has generally been strong but not as high as the top 4.

Hey! So i don't know much about the other chapters at UF! But as a KD i know last year we were awarded the Merit Chapter Award which is given to the top 10% of Kappa Delta chapters in the NATION! We have one of the highest GPA's on campus and we always make it a point to stay super involved on campus and philanthropic events! I know a lot of my sisters and I try to volunteer every weekend if not every other! Personally i think we have a great reputation on campus for being classy and i take pride in the fact that i never really hear bad things about our chapter! LOVE love love being a KD! Good luck with rush, I know all of the chapters on campus are super involved to and thats the great thing about going greek :)

sure so not to pick on deeph or anything but they're tiny nationally but obviously have made an impact here at uf! so remember that since any chapter has some cool history, you can focus on right now
