is hazing actually a thing?
by: AdviceI don't believe it would be a thing, but I do not know details about recruitment week and want to double check. Is hazing/similar an actual thing that could happen during recruitment?

1. There is no hazing in sororities. Mostly you get showered with gifts and presents and love for two months.
2. Recruitment is the last time anyone would haze, even frats. They want you to choose them, everyone has their best foot forward and they're doing their best to impress you.
3. Pi Chis watch over you for all of recruitment, chapter women get in trouble if there's too many of them talking to you at once or if you feel isolated or can't see another PNM. There's no way they would even be able to get away with it.
4. once again, even if they could get away with it, nobody hazes.

I am in one of the sororities accused of hazing and I promise 100% we, nor do any of the others named, haze. Also the only sorority on that list who has recently been accused of hazing was aephi, and that was awhile ago. NO sorority on this campus hazes. 100%
