how do they get our social media/when do they chec
by: Social mediaOn the application I did not see anything about putting down social media. Will we have to give it to them sometime and if so when? Also, when do they begin to skim over that and does it have much of an influence on getting into sororities ?

They use your name... Like most people when trying to find someone on social media. You give your name and hometown and a picture so it's not hard. I've found someone on facebook when I was only given a first name and generic place of work (ie panera).
I know my chapter starts skimming when the applications come in. It's not a make or break thing, just to get a better feel of who you are and who you might pair well with in the sorority. It also lets us look for red flags like alcohol pictures, crazy partying, etc. Otherwise it's more of a guide and reference than something that actually factors into a decision.

as long as they're in good taste you should be fine. If you would be ok with a future employer or your parents looking through your social media and seeing what you post, then you're fine.

So if you have pictures clearly out/going out but never with alcohol is that considered a red flag or okay?
