I'll be rushing in the fall so naturally I've been reading ranks on here and checking out sorority instas. I know someone will accuse me of being in one of these sororities, but I feel like DG, AOPII, and Kappa theta are super underestimated in the looks department. Like i went on their instagrams and the girls are so exotic and pretty.
So what's the deal? Are they not very smart or not well liked by a lot of frats for some reason? I just don't hear about then a lot on here and they aren't ranked super high so i wanna know the whole story that social media doesn't tell (if there is one, not trying to offend anyone... Just genuinely curious) thanks!!

It's jealousy. Not necessarily "I want to be them" jealousy, but more "I want to be better than them" jealousy. Every sorority has gorgeous girls, and while some may have more than others and prioritize physical aspects more than others, you'll find beautiful women in each one. Just take what you see on here with a grain of salt, because Greekrank is the anonymous battlefield where girls try to tear eachother down because of their insecurities. IRL, the sororities that you're curious about are indeed good-looking, and no one I know of would vocally express the opposite opinion without being anonymous.

Honestly I think they're ranked lower because not every sorority can be ranked as "top" but they still have really beautiful girls and great members. That's why rankings are kind of pointless in a way, don't get too caught up in what rank a house your interested in is because every house has amazing girls in it

Those three are actually ranked pretty high, just not absolute top. I think it's largely due to that these three are much more party oriented, and often not quite as involved as ones like ADPi, KD, DDD. That isn't a bad thing, but like said before, this is the SEC. The SEC tends to prize things like involvement and influence on campus higher than most schools, and not pick ranks solely on beauty. DG, AOPi, and Theta are all great but i would say that's what it is that ales them upper mid/maybe lower top instead of top.

thats so not true. Top tier sororities don't own or control Greek rank, and they sure as heck aren't the only ones who post rankings or questions on here. Most top tier girls don't even care about Greek rank because they know their position is solidified, and don't care if they are number 1 2 or 3. Because it doesn't matter to them. They all hangout with the same guys, have hot girls... people want to be them... sorry but thats just the reality. DDD ADPi and ZTA... and those people will rank DDD ADPi and ZTA high. People in lower tier sororities know where they stand, and they'll list sororities like I mentioned higher than theirs because thats the way it is.

Thanks for responding! I get that, but why are they ranked lower than like say alpha delta pi or kappa delta? There are pretty girls in those too but I would say they're equal to the ones i mentioned and not necessarily below
I don't care about ranks in real life, just wondering why on earth those sororities are ranked lower than others when they seem pretty similar to me
