how important is greek life at uf

im transferring from another university where my sorority is top tier. here it is bottom tier. i don't think id be interested in rejoining at UF, but i don't want to not have a social life. how big is greek life here

It's big. You don't have to be in it to have a social life but it certainly helps out a lot. If you don't want to rejoin because it's bottom here though, that's just stupid and they probably won't want you anyways.

Greek life is huge at SEC schools in general but yeah you seem really more worried about your own image as opposed to joining a sisterhood, so maybe you'd be better off not joining a Greek organization here
