This is just a general explanation from what I remember because I thought it'd be useful for any PNMs on here
Round 1:
Lasts 2 days, you'll see half of the houses each day (which is a lot!), and have 10 minutes at each house (which goes by so fast). Most houses have a little skit they'll do or someone will speak to give you a bit of a feel of the house. You'll have ~10 periods each day, with "lounges" as breaks between houses throughout.
Wear: nice pairs of shorts or even a casual skirt, NO JEAN SHORTS, and sandals NO FLIP FLOPS
Round 2:
Lasts 2 days, a little longer at each house (maybe 20 mins), still goes by pretty fast.
Wear: a casual romper or dress, nothing too revealing, with wedges.
Round 3:
Longest day of recruitment. Only lasts one day. Video round, meaning you get to watch a video that they put together talking about sisterhood, etc.
Wear: a little more formal than round 2 but still basically a casual dress and wedges
Prefs:
The biggest cuts are made this day so be prepared! It isn't the end of the world if one of the houses you wanted to pref dropped you, you're only gonna end up at 1 anyway. Rounds last ~45 mins, there'll be videos that take up around 15 mins to set up/watch, the houses will also all have different desserts for you to eat. Don't be afraid to eat them! Also don't be afraid to not eat them if you don't want to, just do whatever feels comfortable

TIPS:
Don't go crazy with the makeup! It's gonna be insanely hot so it's all gonna come off, and houses prefer a more natural look anyway
Do your nails. It's not a big deal but it just looks better if your nails look clean and nicely painted, preferably a neutral
Don't wear heels you know you'll fall in because you will.
Stay calm and confident during rush, even if you mess up/do something dumb! The girls rushing you are just as nervous most of the time as you are
ALSO, the way that recruitment works is each house will have a tent outside in its lawn and you'll meet there about 10 minutes before each round is supposed to start. Before each round, the Pi Chi's will meet you at each tent and line you up outside each house. When the round starts, the door of the house will open and a girl will come outside and greet you, then a line of her sisters will come out and greet each individual PNM in order and guide her into the house to begin each round.

overall good, just some edits:
Round 1:
20 mins per house, 12 periods a day. You'll see 8-9 chapters a day with some breaks in between called "lounges". You travel with your pi chi group the entire round.
Round 2:
30 mins per house, day 1 there are 7 periods and day two there are 10 periods. You can visit up to a max of 12 chapters (it was 11 but I think they raised it because of the new addition) but most girls have less than that. They may be spread out, they may be clumped together. You go to your parties individually.
Round 3:
40 mins per house, there are 12 periods lasting from 8:20 AM until 11:50 PM(obvi with a bunch break). Visit a max of 7 or 8 (idk with the addition) chapters.
Prefs:
Cuts are made in between round 3 and prefs. 50 mins per house, 7 periods but you visit a max of 3 houses. Once you leave your final party, you can no longer consult your pi chis so talk to them beforehand if you are having any issues. Don't feel weird eating the dessert. By prefs the final cuts are usually made, and now it's up to you. You're ranked on a list somewhere and the majority of chapters are done ranking before prefs, so this round is mainly to help you decide where you want to go.
Final note: PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do not suicide. I cannot stress this enough. If you make it to prefs, and put every chapter you visited on your preferencing list (so if you visited only 1, you only have to put 1 for this to work), you will get a bid. -cont

Maybe not to your first choice, but you will get a bid. If you preference at 3 and only put 2 or 1, or if you preference at 2 and only put 1, and you do not match with your picks, you will not get a bid. But if you maximize your options, you will get a bid to somewhere.

Round 2:
SANDALS. not wedges, save the wedges until round 3 please please please. Flip flops are a no no, but tory or jack is fine.
And jean shorts are fine, they're just too casual/not cute for recruitment. Nothing against cute jean shorts in general, they're just not appropriate for recruitment.

I only wanted ADPI last year. I did not want any other house. that was my home. I did suicide and got it. I am so happy I did it.
