are professors ok with skipping class pref/bid day

I was planning to get work ahead of time & talk to my professors about conflicting schedules as I have classes during some events pref/bid day. Is that a bad thing? I wasn't sure how to go about this but this was my idea

It's drop/add so a lot of people will be in and out of the class, especially the big freshman ones. You probably won't even be doing anything but going of the syllabus, which you can ask for the next class and it won't be a big deal. You'll be fine!

Don't worry about it at all. It's college. You're probably going to skip the class you're going to miss at some point anyways. Plus it's drop add al attendance doesn't count if it's one of those
