saw this and wanted to share. the reality is not everyone will end up in a top houses. sometimes girls pick bottom houses over their solid middle ones. just because you may end up in a bottom house does not mean you are unfit for another chapter, or not good enough, it is how the system works. best of luck to all the women going through recruitment!
"the bottom tier order is phi mu, gphi, aephi, SK.
phi mu: it is not right to disregard their improvements over the years. they might still be bottom, but i know many girls (personally and through mutual friends) who absolutely love their house and their sisterhood and would not trade it for anything.
gphi: too new to decide anything. they have gorgeous girls, just as other bottom houses do, and plans for a lovely house, however they are so new to the greek system and learning how it works. after fall recruitment, we will have a good indicator of their ranking. they have done a great job making themselves known on campus
aephi: i have to give them kudos because they are probably the least active on this entire site. while they are often overlooked, i know that they love each other and their sisterhood. they truly just have not done anything to stand out recently.
sigma kappa: everyone please ignore the self ranking on this site. this house is the bottom or the bottom, and from what i have seen their attitudes and posts aimed at other chapters has done this. you can only improve when you improve yourself!"

UF Greek system is one of the biggest, most competitive, and most thriving Greek systems in the country. Because of that, imo, our tiers, top, middle & bottom tiers are all great. Our bottom tier frats & sororitys alone are comparable to some universities' entire Greek systems. On bid day, be proud if you end up going Greek! Best wishes to all in the Fall!

I am in a lower house, and I have many friends who either preffed at top tier AND bottom tier houses, and CHOSE the bottom house, or who got it on bid day. regardless, every house has its perks and its all about finding where you want to be and where you belong. obviously the stigma around being in a bottom house absolutely SUCKS (especially when the UF greek system does not acknowledge a tier system) and can be hard to like process when you are a new member, but it is what it is, and when you love your chapter so much you truly don't care. bottom tier houses are not the end of the world! :) pan love!

Interesting, somebody just went to town downvoting this post, that couldnt have been more obvious could it? Also, i have been seeing people do that a lot recently. I really want to know, how do you do the instant voting thing where you do enormous amounts of voting at a time? Can someone tell?

Woah there, Nancy Drew. You all are so quick to say, "well this was down voted, I think we ALL know who this was!" You have no idea. The chance that the person who downvoted was in the sorority you think they're in is as likely as someone randomly seeing a post, thinking it was mean to single out one house, and spending a couple seconds downvoting it because they could. Just chill. Also, sometimes it let's you press the button more than once.
