This is a historically black sorority, not a religious sorority. It is not a “club” it is a legitimate sorority, though not Panhellenic. They are active and valid.

Sigma Gamma Rho - ΣΓΡ Sorority at University of Florida - UF 1.0 Trying to give honest rates. This is not a traditional Panhellenic sorority. It is more of a “club” or special interest fraternity. It is a sorority that you can be a member of in addition to pan if you choose. It’s religious based (Christian). The girls are kind, classy and uphold good character. They are actually pretty fun, or as fun as you can be without alcohol lol. No house and don’t participate in rush obviously, anyone can join. Very welcoming, not overly zealous.

Sigma Gamma Rho - ΣΓΡ Sorority at University of Florida - UF 4.4 This is a historically African American sorority with a rich history and a great sisterhood. Putting them down simply because they are not part of Panhellenic council or because you are uneducated about their history is ignorant. They are very influential nationally and just as relevant as any of the other organizations being ranked here.
