it can be more of a time commitment than some people realize -chapter meetings, philanthropy events, retreat, etc- but it’s really what you make of it.
greek life is not a big deal on campus and no one will care if you don’t rush but if you do it gives you another community/ good connections with a lot of the people who also tend to be heavily involved on campus.
it can be fun just make sure you’re very deliberate to join a chapter you actually connect with so you don’t end up miserable

first off greek life really doesn’t matter here but it’s an excellent community to have and the connections and friendships you build are great in both college and professionally . that being said, there are def stereotypes as there are at every school .
you should go through recruitment with an open mind and find people you click with ! don’t worry about stereotypes or rankings just really try to find a group of ladies you feel the most welcome and comfortable with!
