Sorority Stereotypes
by: anonWhat are the stereotypes of the NPC sororities at Loyola? Why and how did they get these stereotypes?

axo- very enticing philanthropy, usually does well in recruitment, members are very involved, pretty, and talented but chapter is starting to form a pretty strong “mean girl” rep (definitely not everyone but i’ve heard this from people both in and out of the chapter)
dg- tends to be the most desired in recruitment, very active, good connections. they have their issues like anyone else but if you can fit in their mold you will do well. used to be a big party chapter but they’ve had a pretty big shift in their focuses
gphi- a bit difficult to define their vibe bc there is such a broad range of members. seems like a place anyone could fit in if you give it effort
tpa- people can be a bit cruel bc it isn’t your stereotypical sorority or sorority members. this siblinghood seems very strong for those that want to be there. This is the smallest chapter but it gives members the opportunity to get to know one another better and more access to leadership roles. probably the most involved with philanthropy
All of these chapters have the strengths and weaknesses and a bit of a range in their members. Greek life isn’t big enough at loyola for “rank” to matter so focus should be more on where you feel at home if you want to join
