That the National Board of Directors will address and may take charter action on any chapter which refuses to implement a complete substance-free policy by August 1, 2020

SigEp invented the industry-leading Balanced Man Program® that most other national fraternities are now following. SigEp's nationwide substance-free facilities policy is bringing SigEp into a bright future for fraternities. The goal for all SigEp chapters is to actively shift the paradigm in our facilities to promote an environment that is focused on academic success and away from the stereotypical fraternity environment. The chapter will be renovating its house to remove bars, large open spaces and other structures built around the consumption of alcohol.

ΣΑΕ definitely has the best parties and is the best frat here in general easily. it’s always packed completely full in there, plus they got a dj a couple weeks ago.

SigEp is unique in that our chapter house and all fraternity events are alcohol and substance free by choice. The brothers feel that the brotherhood we are constantly striving to build does not require alcohol to exist. Our chapter house is a Residential Learning Community--RLC--which means that we’re one of the best SigEp chapters in the country when it comes to faculty engagement, alumni involvement, and more. Chapter members with prestigious internships want to live in places where they are surrounded by fellow high performers.

Sig Ep nationally is now fully substance-free, and unlike other substance free nationals (Phi Delt, Beta), Sig Ep’s Nationals cops actually enforce the no alcohol policy. Either the chapter have to go completely substance free, or they will get their charter revoked.
