Top
DZ- will probably always be a top tier sorority. Lovely updated house that is very attractive for freshmen going through rush. Very involved on campus, have great grades and are always good at intramurals. Sisterhood has a bad rap but doesn't as bad as other people make it out to be. They actually seem to have a pretty diverse group of girls.
SK- a very pretty sorority who can offer popularity but unfortunately not much else. They do have a few involved girls, but overall this sorority is lower in campus involvement and grades. I've heard bad things about the sisterhood itself, and they usually have a high drop rate in their new pledge classes. However, I do know some really genuine and sweet girls in this sorority so at least some of them are real people.
Bottom of the top
KD- is involved, has great grades, pretty good at recruitment, and intramurals. Likes to come off as the sweet and typical southern sorority. However, this sorority has a bad habit of coming off as snobby or better than everyone else. They brag too much and can be catty. But they have improved a lot over the past few years.
Top of the middle tier
ZTA- many people would put ZTA in the top but I can't do that because their grades are the worst on campus, their involvement on campus is very low even compared to the other middle tier sororities. Their last pledge class was their prettiest so far and it helped their popularity. They're known for partying too hard. But their sisterhood seems great.

Middle tier
Chi O- Chi O is back on top with grades again, and is very involved on campus. However, they aren't top tier in my opinion because they're too quiet. They have a lot of real, genuine girls. But they are rarely seen out in a social way. There is a group of them that does hang out with fraternities and what not,, but for the most part they are MIA. Their sisterhood seems pretty good.
Pi Phi- they are probably most well known for their good sisterhood. They are a very diverse group and almost anyone would probably fit in with them. They have party girls, nerdy girls, pretty girls, not so pretty girls. They've gotten much more involved in the past few years and so now they are more well known. In the past they have been bad at recruitment though, and leave girls going through rush thinking the sorority is worse than it is. They keep getting better though
Bottom tier
AOPi- they have a negative reputation that they just can't move past. But every girl I've met has been incredibly sweet and really seems to love it there. There are some really pretty girls in AOPi too. Unfortunately, their campus reputation keeps them in the bottom. However, I can see them making big improvements, like with winning Fryberger.
KAT- Theta is so new that its hard to place them anywhere. They didn't have quite the start on campus that they should have, but they still have plenty of time to improve and get their name out there. There are some great and involved girls in theta.

No matter what the "tiers" are
1. Literally all of the sororities at UofL are great
2. You can hang out with any fraternity you want no matter which sorority you're in
3. You can be involved in anything you want
4. You're here to join a sorority to find true friends, not "status"
