pnms- sorority ranks and stereotypes you need to know

Okay so let’s start out with ranks
1) Kappa Delta, Alpha Chi, Sigma Kappa, Tri Delta, Phi Mu (in no particular order)

So now you need to know the stereotypes:
1) Kappa Delta - These girls are super smart. Here you’ll find some of the prettiest and most outgoing girls you will ever meet! They love their chapter and they love to share it with everyone. They’re super involved and they’re proud to be KD.
2) Alpha Chi - Without a doubt some of the realest and most fun girls you’ve ever met. They don’t put up a front for anyone. If you’re hanging out with an AXO, you’re going to have fun and you’re going to laugh. They’re SUPER fun at rush (it’s a scary experience but coming in there was like taking a breather! they’re all so nice!) Their chapter is probably the most diverse on campus, and they love their sisters!
3) Sigma Kappa - These girls should be super proud of themselves! They surprised everyone with how well they’ve been doing. They’re known for being down to earth and having an extremely strong sense of sisterhood. They know how to party but they keep it classy! Beautiful girls!
4) Tri Delta - Another sorority that should be proud of themselves! It takes a lot of guts to really get a new sorority going! They have a super diverse group of girls and they all LOVE their sorority. Their first year on campus they won songfest without any prior experience!
5) Phi Mu - Phi Mu girls are some of the most fun and funny girls you’ll meet on campus! They make really good friends! If you have a Phi Mu in your class, you can count on them to come through with the homework or be a good study buddy! They love each other and they’re proud to be Phi Mu’s!

So here’s the deal. Rush is scary for everyone! Whether you’re in house or a PNM. People get so hung up on tiers and what other people are in. There’s a place for everyone and even if you can’t see yourself in a certain sorority, there’s people within that sorority that will make you feel like home! There’s no reason to be afraid. Greek life is about making friends and becoming the best you that you can be, and all of these sororities will help you do that in some way or another! Most importantly, not every girl in a certain sorority is the same! There is all kinds of kinds in each sorority, the good and the bad! Don’t let your fear of the bad keep you from seeing the good!
