Is it hard to go through recruitment as a sophomore, are the sororities open to sophomore girls or do they just cut them?

No, it's not hard to go through recruitment as a sophomore! You should definitely do recruitment, lots of girls join as sophomores. Make sure you fill out your application really thoroughly :)
