cob/informal recruitment info
by: ?Does anyone know details on when/where/how informal recruitment takes place? I just went through recruitment and even though some chapters introduced me to members on their exec board I still didn't have the best of luck of getting into the one I really loved. I know that sometimes you can be ranked really high in a sorority and LMU's weird system can mess things up. I was just wondering how long it usually takes before sororities start COB'ing people and how I go about that process?

Hey there. If the sororities ranked you high then there is no way you would have gotten dropped. This is coming from a girl that’s already in one, so I’m sorry things didn’t work out this recruitment. The only sororities as far as I know that are doing COB are Tri delt, DZ and AXO. If those weren’t your top choices then you’re gonna have to wait for next spring, although I think theta might be doing it as well but I’m not 100% certain, you should definitely contact the head of Panhellenic recruitment.

sounds harsh but it's true. there's no way for the system to mess up. that's just what people say to others to make them not feel bad.
