What if I'm a legacy but I'm not sure if that sorority is right for me? Will other sororities assume I only want to be in the sorority that I'm a legacy in?

what are you a legacy for? it shouldnt hurt you at all. it doesnt mean much here

Different sororities have different national policies on how they handle a legacy and how much a legacy is guaranteed so it varies. However, it's not a huge deal and I don't think any sororities would just "assume" you only want the chapter you're a legacy to. If they want you than they want you regardless of your legacy status. Basically all it can do is help you in the chapter you're a legacy to, but it shouldn't hurt you anywhere else. Just go into recruitment with an open mind and good attitude and you'll end up where you're supposed to :)
