what are the general standings of the sororities in terms of academics? Which ones have the highest average GPA and do your grades make a difference during rush?

grades do make a difference during recruitment! each chapter has a minimum GPA requirement. Thats something you can for sure ask about at open houses or research on each sorority's website.

Pi phi came first for highest GPA followed by DZ then DG then the rest I don't know

Theta has the second highest GPA

It totally varies, it almost is never the same year to year. All sororities do have an internal GPA minimum though, usually far above the 2.5 needed to rush. For a long time it was Theta that had the highest cutoff, but I have heard that changed.

Theta has the highest gpa and because of that deny a lot of girls. it hasnt changed.
