Alpha Phi - ΑΦ Sorority at Loyola Marymount University - LMU 2.9 There is a very specific type of person who will be happy in APhi. If you are not conventionally attractive, skinny, white, you'll be dropped unless you're one of the few token POC. APhi is known for using shallow recruiting practices on a national level and the same applies here. Being known as gorgeous party animals is a plus for APhi girls within frat life but on a general schoolwide scale people in APhi are often looked down on due to their reputation. They've also had racism incidents in the past and nothing was really done to make change other than an increase in the tokenism.

Alpha Phi - ΑΦ Sorority at Loyola Marymount University - LMU 3.5 I’m not apart of alpha phi so I really can’t talk about their sisterhood. Maybe they’re super tight knit. During recruitment I got the sense that they’re not as nice as they want you to think. I really got the vibe that they were the popular, mean girls in high school. Most of them are gorgeous (and blonde ngl). I also detected a certain level of superficiality. Then again, I’m not an alpha phi so take what I say with a grain of salt. Who knows, they could be super nice. I wouldn’t be surprised if a lot of them weren’t that nice, but again I don’t know. Also, I’m sure you find both nice and mean girls in every sorority. So don’t let my personal take on them persuade you one way or the other. I wouldn’t fit in there, but that doesn’t mean you won’t.
