Alpha Tau Omega - ΑΤΩ Fraternity at Lamar University - LU 2.4 They overextended too quickly. There's a number of good ATOs, but there are also several bad ones. I have it on good authority that they may not make it. Best of luck to y'all!

Alpha Tau Omega - ΑΤΩ Fraternity at Lamar University - LU 4.8 I have to hand it to these guys, I would not have expected them to win Zeus Cup and highest GPA based on what I saw three semesters ago. While I may not be their biggest fan, I have to admit that they have rapidly grown into one of LU's most well-known fraternities (for good reasons, unlike a certain other fraternity). I think it is great to see a group of gents who respect women, dress/act like gentlemen, and genuinely love their philanthropy!

Alpha Tau Omega - ΑΤΩ Fraternity at Lamar University - LU 3.2 ATO has gone through an up and down roller-coaster in quality of recruitment. In the beginning, most of the guys that they rushed were ones that did not fit in with the rest of the fraternities, but as they have worked very hard at increasing their membership and gaining their charter there has been some fine leaders that have emerged, but some of their other members do nothing but instigate conflict with other chapters, because they fail to see the bigger picture, which could be their downfall.

2nd time they've gotten their charter. At least this guy knows what he's talking about.

Please have correct information when leaving a comment. This is the only time ATO has rechartered since 1957, and the only reason they lost charter was because the alumni reported the chapter to nationals for not being a fraternity they were proud of, making the chapter arguably better today than it would have been. The only reason it may seem like ATO is flaunting their "newness" is because they have been able to be such a dominating presence on campus, ending other "dynasties" before even regaining their charter. Thus, I believe most people are who talk about how new ATO is are crediting how much they've done in a short amount of time as opposed to inherently being better because of newness, as you are claiming.
