Anyone who will join a chapter that does not allow black woman to join in 2017 is kind of sad. Maybe you don't realize when you sign your bid, but to actively cut a girl for being a minority is really sad. I just don't know what else to say. The other two sororites give bids to woman of every race and size. Some woman in ZTA have to nerve to say their chapters are not as good as theirs because of this. I say not letting a girl be in your org because she is black or overweight is sad

I have to disagree with some of the comments on this thread. Every organization has their "bad" member, just like any fraternity on campus. Pike has been the fraternity that has introduced themselves, opened doors for me, helped me set up for philanthropy events, and has the best turn out at my chapter's events (and Sig Ep!). Pike also donates a lot of money to their philanthropy and does something a lot of the other fraternities do not do, and that is volunteering. It's easy to donate money.
