sports and pledging

How hard is it to be on a sport team and in a sorority? I am being recruited and want to know if I could also pledge. Do coaches let you go through recruitment? Does the chapter understand when you have games and practice?

volleyball, soccer, field hockey all aren't allowed to pledge (I believe) but cross country, swimming, lax, softball, are allowed to. Also yes, the sororities are all very accommodating to games and practice schedules!

volleyball can pledge they just have to wait until 2nd semester soph year
