what gdis don't know about parties

There's a lot to know about frat parties and how they are run. A party isn't bad just because it got shut down. A party gets shut down for many reasons. the noise from the volume of people and the music was too loud, a bad neighbor who calls the cops for anything, GDIs who puke and piss everywhere on the streets forcing neighbors to call cops. Generally frat guys try to minimize all that and they run certain duties to maintain and control the party. But of course with hundreds of people it's hard to control sometimes. There are sometimes when frats move and they think the location is good, they end up with a really bad neighbor and are forced to stop throwing there. Cops give noise violations for the first few tickets up to around 5 tickets, those are $233 plus 24 hours community service each. The cops could give a nuisance ticket which is a criminal offense and requires a lawyer. These tickets stem a lot of times not from the party itself, but from the people attending these parties creating nuisances outside or down the street. So next time you go to a frat party just realize why the party is being shut down and don't think they're a poorly run fraternity because of it.
